Dr. Poovamma C U is a highly respected and experienced Breast Oncosurgeon with over 15 years of expertise in the diagnosis, surgical treatment, and reconstruction of breast cancer. She currently serves as the Senior Consultant and Director of Breast Oncology at Cytecare Hospitals, Bangalore.

She is one of the pioneering specialists in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery in India, with extensive training from prestigious institutions including Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, an interdisciplinary breast center in Germany, and an international fellowship in Oncoplastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Breast Surgery.
